Product Overview

Tops-12, a fully synthetic compound mixed heat transfer medium, has an atmospheric boiling point of ≥ 80 ℃ and excellent low-temperature viscosity, low-temperature flow, and heat transfer characteristics. Suitable for liquid phase refrigeration and heating systems at -80 ℃ to 90 ℃.

Material Compatibility

It has excellent compatibility with most metals and hard plastics.

Slight dissolution effect on soft plastics and rubber containing plasticizers.

It has a swelling effect on fluororubber, fluorosilicone rubber, and silicone rubber, and should be avoided from use.

Recommended sealing materials: metal graphite wrapped gaskets, metal PTFE wrapped gaskets, etc.

Under non harsh conditions, it can be used as a sealing material: PTFE gasket, EPDM rubber, butyl rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, etc.

Precautions

Prohibit contact with active metals such as sodium, potassium, and calcium.

Chemical reaction with strong alkali.

Chemical reaction with strong nucleophilic reagents.

Chemical reactions occur with strong reducing agents such as lithium aluminum hydride and sodium borohydride.
